Accidents happen – when they do we will be here to help you!
If you do need to make a claim – phone us as soon as possible. We will notify the insurer and they will assign a claims representative to handle your file. We will still be there for you to ensure you know what you are covered for and to make sure you get everything that is coming to you.
In case of an accident or incident please ensure the following:
- Get all persons to a safe location.
- Call emergency respondors immediately – Police, Ambulance, Fire.
- Get medical help as soon as possible if there are any injuries - even if the injuries seem minor
- In the case of an auto accident collect all pertinent information from those involved and anyone who witnessed the accident. Download the attached accident details file to assist you with gathering information.
- If safe to do so - shut of gas and electrical services, stop or divert water/sewage back-up, move valuables to higher ground.

In an emergency or after normal office hours you can call the carrier directly - you will need your policy number to file a report.
- Report a claim to your broker or insurer.
- A claims representative contacts you for details on loss/damage.
- The claims representative will discuss the options available on how we can settle your claim.
- The claims representative looks after the billing and other paperwork.
- You receive payment according to your policy coverage.
